EntEd

(April 6, 2018)

EntEd is a program for extracting and editing entity lists in Quake, Quake II and TeamFortress maps, whether compiled or uncompiled. The main feature of the program is the ability to add, delete, and edit the values for various entities, everything from worldspawn keys to origins and targets for weapons and enemies.

EntEd is especially optimized for TeamFortress maps, being able to edit TeamFortress-specific entities like flags and team-specific ammo in-depth. As an example, flags can have their return criteria set, effects on players when carried, who the flag effects when it is picked up, who owns the flag, the model, skin, and sounds used by the flag, and even messages for when the flag is picked up or dropped.

Because EntEd is now abandonware, a registry patch has been included for the full version of the program. Running this will allow you to edit BSP files and gain full functionality of the program.
